if tim or scott haven't mentioned this, this was developed by a group called axiom...we (Ecotrust) have some other work with them as well.  

i met with them a couple months ago when i was in anchorage.   they are looking for opportunities to colaberate with the MMC

I went to an international seabirds meeting in October where there was much portal discussion and spoke with Shane StClair (sh...@axiomalaska.com) about sharing telemetry and survey data between SEAMAP and the Seabirds.net application they developed.

Their Flex mappers are very impressive, especially the models and remote sensing (with depth and time and nice iconic credit given to providers) which I hadn't seen before.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of the depth selecting widget. Allows you to select the depth you'd like to see and shows you what depths data are available in one slick ui element.
