IMO versus MMSI number

A ship is indentified by the IMO number from lunch to scrap. The same
ship could have different MMSI numbers during lifetime. That is the
reason why using MMSI as an identification number for the ship will
cause to difficulties.
Try this example:

IMO : 9242297

MMSI: 249820000

MMSI: 271000677
