My KML feed in Google Earth stopped picking up the data from Marine
Traffic server. Not been working for some couple of months now. Have
checked the link from the website http://marinetraffic.com/ais/ge.aspx
(http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/ge_marinetraffic.kml). When
clicking on the KML file I get a 404 error (not found).

Have also tried to link it through google maps to test but again there
is no data streaming: http://g.co/maps/skcdt
As a benchmark I tested another KML file and it works fine: http://g.co/maps/yf2cx

There are no errors in Google Earth.

Any ideas if the KML file is no longer supported or if it is why there
is no data feed?

There is another discussion about this same thing:
http://forums.arcgis.com/threads/46193-marine-traffic-kml

Any help would be great!

Thanks.

Had the same problem so have just deleted the KML file and re-downloaded
from the Marine Traffic website.

Now works fine.

Dave.

Thanks.

Hi Dave - thanks for the idea, I have tried to download but when
clicking to download the KML file (http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/
ge_marinetraffic.kml) I get a 404 error (File or directory not found.
The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name
changed, or is temporarily unavailable.) so I am guessing that it has
either been renamed on the server and the link not updated or the file
is no longer provided?
