I can confirm the behavior, but don’t have a suggested fix.  It looks like an incorrectly parsed position taken from the vessel track is being used to center the view.

 

Hopefully the site managers are monitoring this site and can have a look at it.

Hi is anyone else experiancing problems with the show on map feature, not showing correct map for the vessels stated position.

for example the vessel is known to be in the Atlantic, a map of Turkey with no vessels showing appears,if I then refresh the map

stays the same and vessel appear that are correct for the map

All my ships are showing correctly, except those not in range of a transmitter where usually the last map area that has been on screen, appears instead.
