Hey there,
I have a few announcements.
First, I'll get the horribly self-promotional thing out of the way:
I now have a Patreon!
If you're not familiar with Patreon, it's a way to support some of your favorite creators with a buck here and there, and sometimes get stuff in return. In my case (depending on how much you pledge per month), I'm offering inside looks into my creative process, TMI blog/newsletter posts, high-resolution prints, out-of-print comics, and even a mentorship, if that's your jam. Please take a look, and consider being a patron if you have a bit to spare:

Okay, whew, glad to get that out of the way!
In other news, I have some exciting things coming up:
April 14 and 15 I'll be in San Francisco for the Queers & Comics conference. They've got me on three panels, and it's not cheap to attend, but I heard the first event was amay-zing! If you're into queer comics, this is a not-to-be-missed event.
April 29 I'll be on a panel at RuPaul's Drag Con in Los Angeles. I don't have details yet, but keep an eye out on my website as the date approaches:

June 1 I'll be in San Francisco for Radar's All-Star reading. I was so flattered to be called an "all-star," I totally forgot that I was saying no to events this year (ha).
In other news, my sister just had her second child, a little boy named Cassidy Hiro who I just spent a lovely week with.
Also, I'm gearing up to adopt a puppy, since clearly I don't have enough critters around.
Other than that, life has been good. I've been drawing comics, hanging out with Gary and pals, and enjoying an unusually (wonderfully!) cool and damp winter in beautiful Los Angeles.
How are you?
XO
Mari
