Hey Comedy Lover,

I am so so pleased to announce the Second Annual Women in Comedy
Festival, happening March 24 - 28 at ImprovBoston and Mottley's Comedy
Club.

This year's headliners are Maria Bamford (Comedy Central, HBO) and
Jackie Kashian (Last Comic Standing).

We also have talent who has appeared on Letterman, MTV, VHI, Ferris
Beuller's Day Off (the secretary!), and Second City.

You can buy tickets, read about free events, workshops, download the
WICF comedy podcast, and read the WICF blog, all here:

I hope to see you at a WICF show, event, workshop, or after party. If
you have any questions, please feel free to ask!

Best,
Maria

WICF FAQ
How do I see the schedule and buy tickets for shows and events at
WICF?
Buy tickets here:
http://www.womenincomedyfestival.com/html/scheduleTickets.php

How can I make sure I see all shows at WICF? Do you have a festival
pass?
Yes we do! If you’d like to make sure to see all shows at WICF, you
can buy a WICF pass for $65 here:
http://www.womenincomedyfestival.com/html/scheduleTickets.php

Are there workshops I can take with the comedians who are performing
at WICF?
Yes there are!  There are workshops for men and women in stand up
comedy, improv comedy, storytelling, getting started with roadwork as
a stand up, and more. Check here:
http://www.womenincomedyfestival.com/html/workshops.php

I see that Maria Bamford’s open mic is first come, first serve.  I
really want to take part in this! Is there somewhere I can sign up?
Headliner Maria Bamford’s open mic is truly first come, first serve.
Comedians who would like to try new jokes will line up and sign up on
a sign in sheet.  So get there early if you really want to do a 2
minute spot!

Where will WICF comedians be hanging out post shows?  Where’s the
party?
For shows at ImprovBoston, we’ll probably be hanging out a few doors
down at The Field.  There are lots of great bars and restaurants in
Central Square and Harvard Square, so introduce yourself to the
comedians at the theater and ask!

For shows at Mottley’s, there is Trinity Bar just upstairs from the
Comedy Club.  Again, though, there are lots of great bars and
restaurants in Faneuil Hall and the North End, so do some research and
get people together for an outing to a cool spot!
