In previous version levels kept on building and that's why I asked. So now I know of the change. I've been having an awful lot of trouble since starting to hedge. Do you start hedging early and with a double basket multiplier to make hedging work as described by you?
Cheers

Yes this is how BO hedges work - Once hedged, MBC removes the basket TP and will not add any more levels to the basket - if you get a big movement while hedge is in place (in direction favorable to hedge and against the basket) then price could have skipped over several levels, before hedge finally stops out and the basket TP is re-established.
At this point MBC will add levels that it skipped over while hedged.
The idea here is that the market must have started a re-trace, in a direction positive for the basket, in order for the hedge to have stopped out. Adding the skipped basket levels at this point (assuming the retrace continues) will reduce the distance to the new basket TP and make closing the basket much easier
Hope this helps
Cheers Mark

Hi Rick
I have encountered issues witht the latest version of Mbc ver G. When a hedge is triggered, in this case a b/o hedge it doesn't take any more trades in that direction. After closing the hedge and pips later it added to the basket. Has anyone else encountered this?
Thanks
Maria

For sure... developing the C++ framework that handles all the orders took forever. And then troubleshooting took weeks until I got everything ironed out. Now it seems like it goes much faster as the results come with much less effort. Looking forward to hearing your suggestions.
