Help please

As a small experiment I tried to invert Daniel’s set file to work in AM mode i.e. take a profit of 1 – 3 pips in the trend direction. But it seems difficult to get MBC to do this.

I set trade breakouts = true

The SL is no problem = TP setting but the AM TP must be set by the trail basket only or the close on max. I was trying to get the R/R to 1:1 so I set the inner DC to a 100 so that trail settings would on input would work

I set the outer DC to 1 to get more trades.

I set the trail target to 3 and trail stop to 1 - should close at => 2 pips TP?

I just can’t seem to get it to work on a BT.

Is it something related to the break even setting on the level which I have tried to set at 0 and in between at 100 to no avail.

Any ideas are welcome.

I am also trying with an equity sentry on demo with MBC in aggressive Marty mode to quit when a defined equity per basket or cumulative or when a defined money or % equity drop occurs.

This tool has improved my sense of security dramatically when I quit my screen safe in the knowledge that if the S hits the F it will close all orders and stop all EAs also great for higher quality sleep and for more relaxing trips. I always use ES with Auto trading live accounts just in case the EA goes wild ( after a nightmare event with FXGB when 2x instances were running on my VPS) and also saves my equity when the market goes into overdrive and I am out and about. I also double it up on a second VPS with identical settings for added security – but of course it cannot fix a broker server disconnection!

It is supposed to modify the Breakout Hedge entry only, not the exit.

So price must achieve HedgeOuterChannelPeriod +or- Padding (pips) for a breakout hedge to be entered.

As far as I know Rick has not modified it.... Also it should be in pips not 1/10 of pips

Still working on modified settings - will share soon

Can someone, perhaps Mark or Rick, tell me which parameters hedge padding modifies?

Does it modify the HedgeOuterChannelPeriod (so that you only enter a breakout trade at xbars in the past + the padding), AND the BreakoutHedgeChannelPeriod (so that you trail by xbars in the past + the padding)?

I now realise on my live platform that padding DOES work, but an entry of 5 only translates to 0.5 pips, so initially I did not pick up that it was working.
