Theseare the same machined aluminum injector seats used in many Radium Engineering fuel rails. They are required when converting the OEM fuel injector to aftermarket fuel injectors. They simply press-fit into the intake manifold injector ports with no modifications required. Using the included FKM O-ring, they seal into the machined injector counterbore preventing vacuum (or boost) leaks. The injector seat bores are designed to be used with a common 14mm lower injector O-ring.
NOTE: Because they are compatible with different cylinder engines, the injector seats are sold individually (not a set). Change quantity accordingly.
We are often asked why we offer two different fuel kits for the TRD Supercharge for the 5VZ. Our original product when we started URD was the Fuel Upgrade Kit that replaces all 6 injectors with larger ones. That is a great kit, but we found that using a simpler approach and using a single additional injector works better. The 7th injector kit has better altitude compensation, it is easier to install, and the pre-loaded start up program is good for 99% of the trucks out there and almost never needs any additional tuning by the end user.
Some other benefits come from shooting the fuel through the supercharger. The Eaton 3 lob rotor used by TRD is not the most efficient available. The fuel going through the rotor housing helps provides a better seal between the rotors and the housing and reducing the back flow problem with the 3 lob rotor design and reduces the heating of the compressed air by reducing the back-flow. The fuel also removes some existing heat from evaporation of the fuel in the heated compressed air. This can increase effective boost and cool the compressed air resulting in increased performance. This feature is very beneficial when running higher boost pulleys like the URD SuperGrip Supercharger Pulleys.
URD recommends the URD 7th Injector kit for all 5VZ-FE applications that have the TRD Supercharger installed. The only vehicles that we recommend our original 6 injector fuel kit for are the older ones that are equipped with an Exhaust Gas Re-circulation (EGR). The reason for this is that we mount the 7th injector into the EGR port on the supercharger. If that port is occupied with an EGR valve the URD 7th Injector Kit will not fit.
When placing your order, please place your vehicle information in the comments box in the check out. We need to know what vehicle and year it is so we can include the correct vehicle specific installation guide.
Also please select which supercharger you have. The 1st Gen units were GRAY, and the current 2nd Gen units are BLACK. This info is needed because the fuel line is different for each supercharger.
I just wanted to thank you with this whole build on my Tacoma. 25hp and 22 ft lbs gained and most importantly no more detonation. I am overly satisfied with your customer service and a happy camper. Thanks again and we will definitely do business again.
Unbelievable! That is all I can say. All my issues I had with the truck before the 7th injector kit are gone. No more surging, no more detonation, it runs smoother, I could go on. As a Toyota certified technician, I can honestly say this is what Toyota should have done with the supercharger kit when they released it. Performance and overall driveabiliity is a night and day difference. I called in my order cause I already had the fuel pump. Gadget was tons of help, and as friendly as can be. Any business owner who makes a point to tell he really appreciates your business, is good in my eyes. I highly recommend this kit and URD for all their support, if I supercharge another Toyota, it will get a 7th injector kit from URD.
Hands down the only way to go! I have installed and tuned many different set ups and this one is by far the easiest to install and tune. I would highly recommend the integrated AFR calibrator as it is just 1 additional wire to connect, yet it helps keep the EGTs down during boost while in closed loop(confirmed by my EGT gauge as compared to my previous set ups). Everyone always asks me what fuel up grade I would recommend and I have been suggesting the URD 7th injector kit doe some time now, even though I ran a different set up(consisting of mixing and matching different things). Now I too get to enjoy the easy tuning, less clutter, and better performance of the all in one kit.
The kit provides essentially everything you will need to upgrade the fuel system. Upon installation into my truck, I noticed that it did in fact help to minimize my fuel woes from installing the TRD supercharger. It corrected a number of issues ranging from power surging to the dreaded pinging issue. If you are contemplating on installing the TRD supercharger, this should definitely be your next consideration for your vehicle to protect your investment while enhancing the overall performance of the motor.
The tapered tool will allow the user to expand the Teflon Compression Seal over the GDI Injector Tip, while the compression tool will tighten the Seal into place. New seals are required any time the injectors are removed from the engine. With this tool there is no need to bring the injectors back to the dealer and pay an astronomical amount to have them replaced.
This tool is specific to Lexus and Toyota GDI having a larger tip than the standard .294 size. GDI Injectors having a .294 (EVEN TOYOTA / LEXUS) require the other tool. Please verify which tool you require before placing the order.
If your Toyota car or truck is sputtering or running rough, it can be difficult to diagnose the issue. Fortunately, modern cars use onboard diagnostic codes, or OBD-II codes, to highlight issues with your vehicle's engine, including problems with the fuel system. If the problem is fuel related, it's usually a problem with the fuel flow. And if the vehicle still runs, the most common issues involve the fuel filter or a fuel injector.
A fuel injector is a device that delivers a high-pressure spray of fuel into the engine's combustion chambers. Most modern cars have one injector per cylinder, so if you have a six-cylinder engine, you more than likely have six fuel injectors. Each injector uses an electronic signal to tell it when to spray the fuel and how much to provide. Learn more about what injectors do in this post.
As a fuel injector wears out or gets clogged, it starts to spray either too much or too little fuel in the combustion chamber. That problem leads to one or more of the following symptoms when you drive your vehicle:
Electrical-related fuel injector problems trigger a P0200 to P0208 code. A P0200 code indicates a general fault or problems with multiple injectors. P0201 to P0208 codes indicate a problem with a specific injector - for example, P204 would indicate the problem is with the fuel injector for the #4 cylinder.
Fuel-related OBD-II codes are in the P0300 to P0308 range. The format is the same as the electrical codes, with P0300 indicating a general issue or multiple injector problems and P0301 to P0308 indicating a problem with a specific injector.
After all the work you put in to diagnose your fuel injector issue, do yourself a favor and replace the part with an OEM part from Olathe Toyota Parts Center. We only sell genuine OEM fuel injectors and other Toyota parts at wholesale prices.

Every injector is covered against failure caused by defects in original manufacture by our lifetime warranty.
This set of injectors requires you to change the injector plug on the wiring harness in your car. This can be done by soldering in the pigtails (included with purchase) to replace the plugs currently on your harness, or you can choose to purchase the optional plug-n-play adaptors which will convert from the type of plugs on these injectors to the plugs on your harness without any need for cutting or soldering.
This plug conversion is made necessary because FIC always chooses to provide brand new, unused injectors for its performance applications. We do not believe that increasing the chance of a failure due to using remanufactured or core program based injectors is ever warranted.
This is a 2003 Pontiac Vibe with a 1.8L Toyota engine. The customer replaced the spark plugs, ignition coils, MAF sensor and other components in an unsuccessful attempt at fixing this misfire. I decided this would make a great case study for my class at Rosedale Technical College and for you, my YouTube students! In this video I am showing how to do a fuel injector cleaning service in an attempt to fix the injector flow problems revealed in part 1. I was unsuccessful in this case and from my experience, injector replacement is the only fix for these types of issues.
