mDNSResponder messages and Bonjour

Having Bonjour on as an evidence source produces Console messages like
the following, seen in All Messages or system.log. About 3 or 4 appear
every 10 seconds.
7/25/11 16:57:41 mDNSResponder[34] Bad service type
in ._MacOSXDupSuppress._tcp.local. Application protocol name must be
underscore plus 1-15 characters. See <http://www.dns-sd.org/
ServiceTypes.html>
I don't know that this impaired function of anything else in any way.
Just noticed the messages when I was looking into the cause of
something else, and then tracked them down to this feature.
Snow Leopard, 10.6.8. MP 2.5.1. Otherwise working well.
