How slowly, exactly?

The blurb says the project isn't dead but is being developed "very
slowly." But seriously, this is the first post in 2010, so it seems
the user community has disappeared(?) Are there any plans to pick
this project up again? If not, maybe you should change the discussion
blurb and home page to point people elsewhere.
