Non Broadcasting SSID

Aloha,

Does anyone know how to base a location on a non-broadcasting wifi
network? Of course I don't mean detecting the network, rather, if I'm
connected to a non-broadcasting network, I should be able to tell.
I've found a few mentions of non-broadcasting network rules, but
following the little information in those posts, I still can't select
my network.
