Hello Everyone,

 

So I’ve been reading over the emails from the people in charge of the overall organization of the exhibition and with Charlie leaving I thought I would lend a hand to Nicole. As far as I have heard we are not sure where we are pinning up in GO4, therefore when we do find out I suggest we create an AutoCAD drawing of our while space and distribute the space accordingly. Since time is limited the best option is a simple layout, let our drawings do the talking. If anyone is against this then feel free to design something with the time we have and prove me wrong.

 

When we do know the space allocated for our unit can someone please send me the dimensions of our space please?

 

Gabriel: Your drawings are on the shelf on the studio, which would you like to pin up? As far as I know each of us have the space of the width of two A1s.

 

Charlie: You left your drawings with Travis right?

 

As for digital media we have three people who wish to have their videos in the exhibition including myself. According to Yoyo’s email, each unit gets one DVD player and one screen, so the obvious decision is to share the screen that is mounted on an MDF board and show all our videos in a loop. Who is able to secure the DVD and monitor from Matt?

 

Unfortunately, I am unable to go to uni in the mornings as currently I have other responsibilities that take up my day time, but I am available in the evening.

 

Nicole, since I heard you’re our leader, let me know what you need help with please. I will create the CAD dwg when I get the dimensions.

Thanks for taking the initiative on this - it is important that as many people as possible play their part over the next few days... There is a lot to do and very little time, so keep the formatting of the display l as simple as possible. The work is the most important thing...

Hi,

we 've just had a meeting with Colin.

Nicole, Alejandro and me are doing the final layout for the GO4

In order to understand how much space our unit needs we are putting together all the layouts.

Could you please send your layouts ASAP. 

We have meeting with Coling at 2.30pm

At that time we need to have all the layouts combined together.

Shanty, Raymond and Anita could you please send me your layouts?

Also, yesterday we agreed that our unit will hang all the models. I hope it's fine.

Hey Natalia,

 

Unfortunately I am not at Uni and will be unable to send you my layout. Sorry for this tardy email as well, I was busy with something. I will be going to uni this evening, and since I did not send anything I will accept with whatever space that available and any restrictions that may be applied to what I can or cannot present.

Space wise are we looking at landscape or portrait layouts? Is there enough space now to make this negligible?
