January Band Booster Minutes & Meat Raffle Update

• Attached are the minutes from the January Booster Meeting held on January 9th. 
  • In an attempt to boost attendance at the meeting, we will be sending out a link for people to be able to join us virtually at our next meeting on February 24th. This option was added to the Booster By-Laws a few years ago and we thought we would give it a try! We will post the link a few days in advance of the meeting.

• Last year, when Julie Clark was voted in as President, the Executive Board appointed Mike and Becca Resch to finish the remaining time on Julie's term as Treasurer (until June 30, 2025). Mike & Becca have recently resigned and the Executive Board appointed Anita Robillard, who filled in last year as recording secretary, to finish out the year. Thank you to Mike and Becca for their time and dedication to the Band Boosters and welcome back to Anita.

  • Things are starting to come together for the annual Band Boosters Meat Raffle on April 5, 2025! Tickets are now on sale and are available by contacting Robin Richard at 716.725.4852
    Here is how you can help:
    • Promote the event:
      • Tell your age 21+ friends and family! Alumni are encouraged to attend! It's a great way to reconnect with your old bandmates!
      • Share our Facebook event!
      • Print out the attached flier and hang them up around town!
    • Help to secure donations and sponsorships:
      • We are continuing again this year with spin and round sponsorships. Local businesses can be advertised during the meat raffle as a sponsor for purchasing the meat for those spins/rounds! Donation letters are available - email terri...@gmail.com
      • Sign up on our signupgenius to donate smaller items to create our larger prizes! 
      • Ask a local business to donate a large raffle item! Contact Terri Sledz if you need a donation letter.
    • Volunteer at the event:
      • We need a lot of volunteers to make the evening successful. Even if you can only help for a portion of the night, we would love to have you! Please note that if you plan to sit in a seat at a table for a portion of the night, you will need to purchase a ticket. Otherwise, volunteers are free to attend.
