WSMB Booster Updates (Parade, Payments, Fundraisers: Bottle Drive, Delta Sonic, Concession Stand, Give716)

Happy Father's Day shout out to all of the Band Dads out there! Speaking of which, we are still looking for more pit crew members for next year. It's not just for dads, but also moms, aunts, uncles, older siblings, and even grandparents! SIGN UP HERE.

LOTS of updates below!!

1. PARADE: We are still in need of people to help with providing water to the kids along the parade route. You will be walking alongside the kids. We are also handing out Flyers to spectators at the parade advertising the Bottle Drive, Give716 Campaign, the Music in Motion Home Show, and the 2025 Meat Raffle (April 5th). You DO NOT need to walk the route, just come pick up a stack and hand them out to people sitting around you. SIGN UP HERE FOR BOTH.
2. PAYMENTS: The deposit payment is very overdue. There are still some who have not made that commitment payment yet. Payment #2  ($75) is due at the parade, if you did not already pay in full. Band members can hand it to any board member who is around, as they enter the building. If you cannot find your payment slips, please write on the envelope who it is for and what payment #. 
3. BOTTLE DRIVE: The Annual Bottle Drive is Saturday, July 6 from 9-1 at Southgate Plaza. We need many student and parent volunteers to make this a success! If you have not participated before, people can drive up and drop off their bottles and cans to us. Students and parents help unload them from cars, sort them into counted bags, and then volunteers drive them over to the semi waiting at West Senior for us to load up. We are covered with all of the large pop up tents the boosters bought last year for the home show, but we do need to borrow tables. Workers may want to bring heavier gardening gloves, but we will have regular gloves available. Sunscreen and water are also must haves. SIGN UP HERE TO DONATE TABLES OR VOLUNTEER.
4. DELTA SONIC: The Delta Sonic Fundraiser concludes today. It is super easy to purchase them online and it send the link directly to your phone to redeem - or to email/text to someone else! $9 profit on each $18 Super Kiss ecertificate. https://wlink.live/2024_westsenecaband
5. CONCESSION STAND: We actually have an opportunity to man the West Concession Stand over the summer! It is Thursday, July 11 from 5:30-10:00pm for their Thursday Night Lights Field Hockey Tournament. 12 local teams will be there. There are 2 shifts to sign up for. SIGN UP HERE.
6. GIVE716: Give 716 is one month away and the West Seneca Band Boosters are teaming up with the Buffalo Bills and Sabres organizations once again for this year’s Give 716 event. This is an online only giving fundraising event - with the potential of raising BIG money for the Band Boosters in support of the West Seneca Marching Band!! You can help to support us during Give 716 which runs from 7:16 pm on July 15 through 11:59 pm on July 16, so please mark your calendars. A few more housekeeping items...

• GOOGLE REGISTRATION FORM: Don't forget, all returning and new band members need to fill out THIS FORM in order for us to plan for t-shirts, band camp food, the directory, and more. There are 12 returning members and 10 new members who still need to complete it.
• UNIFORM FITTINGS: Uniform fittings are on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday of this week. All woodwind, brass, and percussion members need to be fitted. If you are colorguard, you should only sign up if you were NOT measured by Mrs. Zatlukal at the parade rehearsals. SIGN UP HERE.
• MUSIC IN MOTION HOME SHOW: Karen is looking for a co-chair for the Home show this year, as she has a senior. The date of the show is Saturday, September 7th. She will do most of the prep work, but really needs someone for day of operations. Look for more info coming soon.
