Brian J. Balderston '08 Memorial Fund - A Message from the Class of '08

Fellow 97 Alumni,
For those who have not already heard, it is with great sadness that we share that Brian Balderston '08 has unexpectedly passed away. For those who didn't know B-donk, he was a beloved 97 drumline (quads) alumnus and a devoted Marching 97 supporter; his presence could be counted on for any and all events - especially Lehigh Football tailgates and local flames. Several of Brian's close friends have begun the process of setting up a memorial fund, and are already halfway to their $50,000 goal. The Brian J Balderston ‘08 Memorial Drum Fund will provide endowed funds to benefit the Marching 97 drumline in perpetuity, including the purchase of new equipment, instrument upkeep, replacement of heads and sticks, and even provide instruction. We know that there are many other 97 alumni who want to join us in honoring Brian’s memory, or who would love a way to contribute to the benefit of the drumline.
