Hi Alumni,
It is with great sadness to say that one of the Marching 97's beloved passed directors, Clark John Hamman, passed away yesterday May 7th, 2024. He was the Marching 97's director from 1977 to 1980. Mr. Hamman was a critical foundation to the band during the transition between Taylor stadium and the Loft, we could not have done it without him. Mr. Hamman will be forever missed.
His obituary can be found here. There will be a viewing held on May 12, 2024 from 2-4 pm at Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem. A graveside service will be May13, 2024 at 11 am at the Pennsburg U.C.C. Cemetery, 775 Main Street, Pennsburg, PA.

Correction Mr Hamman was our director from 1978 to 1989. I'm sorry about this error.
