I am interested in learning if other people have located what could broadly be defined as art or outsider art in their archival collections.

I have been interpreting a collection of hand-made photomontage postcards (1910s -1920s) that were done by a Civil War veteran. They were buried within the notes for a regimental history that are now part of an archival collection.

If others have come across similar collections of the work of unknown artists located in archival collections, it might make for an interesting and, highly visual, session.
