This is a great concept. Can't wait to use it.

In the meantime, are there any great alternatives?

Thanks!

Are you asking if there are competitors? Hard question to answer
because it depends on what you need. If you are looking at the full
vision of Maqetta (runs in cloud, open source, true WYSIWYG, creates
actual running web apps, supports arbitrary popular widget libraries,
integrated CSS theme support, desktop and mobile, web-based review/
commenting, wireframing, etc.), then as far as I know, we are the only
thing going with that particular set of ambitions.

Awesome. That's a lofty vision. Maqetta seems like an excellent alternative to the throwaway prototyping I've been doing lately in Keynote, since I can send the designs to developers in a format they can actually use.

Hi there

I know this is an ancient thread.  Any chance that anyone knows of alternatives available now, since support for Maqetta is over?

Thanks for any clues in advance...

Hi Toni,
Wow, ancient thread is right! There are various online website authoring tools, but I haven't been keeping up with them, so sorry I can't be of any more help than a web search would provide. However, I can report that someone is working on a derivative of Maqetta:
