Hi all.

I wanted to create new widgets (charts categories) by using Chart library in the dojo project of the maqetta.
I have used these documentation:
But up to now, I still can't create any widget.
(Note: I have created new project with name's Chart. In this project, I defined files, folders like clipart's files and foldes, but they haven't worked. I think that we must configure the project, but I don't know how to do.)
Who can help me that problem?
I hope I am going to recieve early your answer.
Thank you for reading this my question.

To add widgets to Maqetta, you will need to add the charting widgets to the dojo 1.8 metadata that  as described in the wiki https://github.com/maqetta/maqetta/wiki/Widget-Libraries

Dear Bill Reed,

Thank you for your answer.

Below, I show my idea for you to understand:

I created Chart project to contains widgets in Line, Pie, Bar categories.

Chart libraries have already exist inside Dojo_1_8 project (charting).

Widgets are defined in the Chart project and using Chart libraries in the Dojo project. But I don't know how to do. (the documentation I shown in the previous email).

(Note: Chart project is the same with Clipart. But Clipart structure unlike Dojo widget Library Example in https://github.com/maqetta/maqetta/wiki/Widget-Libraries.)

Help me, please!

Thank you for your reading.

In my first attempts to create a new widget project in Maqetta, I found things just didn't work and it sometimes took me days to figure out what I did wrong. What I learned to do was to take things very slowly and incrementally by cloning an existing project (usually starting with clipart or shapes because they are the simplest) with minor hand-edits (e.g., the library name) and just getting a second version to be recognized by the core of Maqetta. WIth any new widget library, you have to do a recursive grep (search) through all of the existing projects on one of the existing project names (eg "clipart") and make sure that you add an entry for the new project wherever project names are referenced. You might also want to rename at least one of the cloned widgets so that you will be able to see the renamed widget easily in the widget palette. (probably in the "Other" category)

Then, once the cloned project seems to be loading, incrementally change the cloned project to do what you need it to do.

Hope that helps.
