Dear National Council and supporters,

 

Two things to be pleased about:

 

1. Bill Williams has had a feature published in Online Opinion today.

2. A big win, facilitated by MAPW’s expertise: Tilman reports that NSW government seems to have accepted Hunters Hill (uranium contamination in Sydney) inquiry recommendations. Tilman should take much credit as the Inquiry called him as a witness and he was able to assist them with detailed and reliable information. Tilman writes:

 

– looks to me that the government’s response to the NSW Legislative Council committee recommendations re comprehensive characterisation and clean-up of contaminated areas accepts pretty much all the recommendations, which is a major achievement if its all carried out – a role for us to monitor to ensure they do I think.
