MapTiler Clickable Image Map

Has anyone modified the code to allow it to have an image map layer?
I am using a map that is simply a boundary map. I want to make each
state in the map clickable that will load up a webpage in an iframe
next to it. The information that I am displaying is contact info.

That doesn't really sound like a job for MapTiler. You should check
out FeatureServer, GeoServer, and OpenLayers.

Yes, something like that is possible. I have seen an implementation of
similar functionality done together with gdal2tiles here:

In case you can rethink your page layout, check this Openlayers
example:

You may put the contact info in those popup instead in an iframe.
In any case, the example code, may suggest you the solution to your
requirement.
