Hi,

Is there any way of ignoring the "Warning 6: gdalbuildvrt does not
support heterogenous projection" error?

I'm trying to merge GeoTIFF's and some of the newer images have had
their PROJCS text description changed, though everything else is
exactly the same (all the other important details).

Or maybe there's a little trick I can use to tweak these descriptions
on mass without touching the Corner Coordinates described?

Thanks in advance for any advice anyone can give!

Hi Gavin,

http://www.gdal.org/gdalbuildvrt.html

use -allow_projection_difference

as you know all the images are NZTM (apart from the Chathams)

Hi Reuben,

Thanks for that - very much appreciated :)

If you're ever back in Chch perhaps you'd like to catch up for a
coffee sometime? I'll leave that for discussion outside of this thread
though. There's a contact form on any of the pet project sites I run.

Cheers,
Gavin
