Security configuration for workspace admin

Hello there,

I am trying to set up the following security rules on a mapstore+geoserver setup: I would like that the administrator of a given workspace can edit styles in a map when they add layers from their workspaces.

If possible, I don't want them to be full administrators of the GeoServer instance.

Even when I give them full access to the REST API, I still have 401 errors when MapStore requests the SLD Service. I also have Cross Origin Request errors for this REST end-point (for the other GeoServer REST end-point, I have no such errors).

I have no errors with an admin account.

What should I change in MapStore or GeoServer configuration to make it working?

Hi Alexandru,

I already have CORS to my geoserver instance, since all the other requests (OGC and REST API) from MapStore are working.
