Hello!

I'm creating a GIS configuration in MapStore for a customer who wants to add some features to Baseline groups and leave some as layers. After recent communication with them, they want me to add a new layer at the bottom of the layer tree. Before adding, I had the GIS configuration and layer tree set up like this: -BASELINE with GROUP 1, GROUP 2, GROUP 3, LAYER 1, LAYER 2, LAYER 3, GROUP 4, GROUP 5. However, after adding LAYER 4, it reorganized the entire configuration, and instead of: -BASELINE with GROUP 1, GROUP 2, GROUP 3, LAYER 1, LAYER 2, LAYER 3, GROUP 4, GROUP 5, LAYER 4, it automatically placed the features in the layer tree like this: BASELINE, GROUP 1, GROUP 2, GROUP 3, GROUP 4, GROUP 5, LAYER 1, LAYER 2, LAYER 3, LAYER 4. Can you advise me on how to configure it so that it correctly saves layers and groups without adjusting the MapStore configuration on its own? Thank you.

Hi,
I can not understand your question-
Maybe there was some indentation that disappeared in your email that made the explaination hard to read. Also attaching images or configurations may help to clarify.

If your problem is configuring the JSON manually, you can import the json file in mapstore, organize the layers the way you want using the user interface and export the map again and replace the default map with the json exported.
This may help you to solve your problem without having to thing about layer configuration details.

I can send you a link to the reference of the map configuration:

Hi,
I reply you here since I received a PVT email about the details, but I think this is useful for everyone. Please, for the future, use "reply to everyone" whenever you are not sharing sensitive data, so your question can be useful to everyone.

Import/Export map functionality is described in the documentation here:
You can use the exported file to replace the static JSON of the map configuration, or use it as example to make your own.
I think the faster way to obtain what you want is to make it from the UI and export it.

Let us know if it worked.
