Increasing Number of Thumbnails for Featured Tab in Opening Page

Hi all,

I've two inquiries:

1) Is it possible to increase the number of thumbnails for the "Featured" group from 4 to 8, 12 or all on the landing page (i.e. without clicking the "Show more..." button as seen below)?

2) Is it possible to change the default selected tab for the "Contents" group from "Maps" to "Dashboards" on the landing page as seen below?
