With the new release, I see that the chart widget has changed.

The Help manual shows that it should look like this:

but, my screen show this:

so, the Operation dropdown no longer exits.

I'd like to use a single column for the X asix, and have a count of the column for the Y axis.

Dear Arthur,

It seems something strange is happening on your side. I cannot see any problem in our demo instance here.

Unfortunately, I don't know what kind of installation you have or how you are running MS, if there is any customization on your side or what else.
Did you maybe try to clean the browser cache?

Best regards,

Thanks for the quick reply.,

I should have mentioned: I’m using the latest binary version for Windows.

just a quick update.  I refreshed my browser and still have the same occurrence.

I am using mapstore2-2024.01.02-bin.   I'm not sure if your demo instance is using the binary version or the WAR or Docker installation.  So, is it possible that the binary version has this issue?

Dear Arthur,

Looking into the code I noticed that the Operation select input is visible only if a WPS gs:Aggregate request is successful,
(this request is needed to verify the support of the gs:Aggregate process)
you should see a request similar to this one in the network as soon as you enter the chart widget builder:

.../geoserver/wps?service=WPS&version=1.0.0&REQUEST=DescribeProcess&IDENTIFIER=gs:Aggregate&authkey=...

Based on this it seems the service you are using does not support the needed WPS process
Could you share which kind of service you are using to create the chart?

Best regards,
Stefano

Thanks, Stefano.  I was using a WMS service from Geoserver.  When I get home tonight, I'll give it a try using the WPS.
