Legend improvement proposal

The base problem : Currently users have to open legend for layers one by one, what is laborious when having a lot of them. Also it can be pretty small as there is a lot of infos in the TOC and not much space.

Today, one of my teammates suggest me an improvment for show the layer's legends in MapStore that sounds good.

The idea is to have a toggle button in the TOC that alternate the left panel's content between the TOC and the legend. This way the user can easily switch between TOC and legend when needed, and also have more space to display legend of visible layers.

I want to discuss it there.

Is there some other platform admins that have this problem ? 

What are you thinking about this suggestion ?

Will it be technically feasible ?

Dear Julien,

It could be an interesting option, I think. Some design is anyway necessary. If you already have something more specific you can start opening an issue to propose a solution or you can continue using this thread to go deeper into the topic before opening an issue.
