I want to connect to mapstore2 and I don't know how (I used npm install....)

Hi, 

In your case you are pointing to our dev instance, and you cannot login there. 

We suggest instead to point to a local backend when developing or to your deployed mapstore instance.

In order to point to your local backend you can edit or add a proxy override param in the call of buildConfig inside webpack.config.js.

See here for more details.

Once you change this, you can run again npm start to point to the local backend which you have to run in a separate shell or 

using tomcat and deploying there a war taken from here
