Metadata from geonetowork

Hi all,

we have a mapstore instance where I have about 345 cruise maps. We also geonetwork as a metadata catalog for those cruises. 

The maps use a wfs from geoserver for the data and I would like to show the metadata from geonetwork in the maps, but still not sure how. Is that possible?

I have seen things like georchestra doing that but I have independent installations, also in different VM. Is there any parameter in the map from mapstore where I can point to a metadata entry in geonetwork? I'm doing it using hyperlinks but I would like a more robust way to do it.

Hi Xavi,

you may want to connect the MS Catalog tool to a CSW endpoint and configure a template for showing the info you want from the returned GetRecords. Potentially including metadata links for example:

In addition, it is also possible to configure the Metadata Info tool by setting up a proper template aimed at fetching and visualizing the metadata connected to a layer directly from the MS UI. Look at the Layer Metadata function at:
