How to customize, mapstore, Add a menu with the company logo?

Hi all,

Sorry for the late reply,

If you are just downloading the mapstore.war  from the latest release v2022.02.02 and you want to apply some customization like:

• home banner and logo
• custom list of locales
• custom list of plugins
• printing customizations
• theme customizations

described here. The problem in doing so is that you would have to re-apply these changes once you deploy a new war coming from a fresh release.

What we usually suggest is to create a downstream project based on mapstore and use it as a framework and apply there the customizations

In this tutorial you can get the full process on how to achieve a customized .war file, by changing not only the theme but also the list of plugins, locales etc.

If you are interested in knowing more on how to develop in mapstore, for example creating a custom plugin I can suggest another part of the training material (a bit more dedicated to the developers) here
