Integrate Js Apis in AngularJs

Hi everybody,

I am new to MapStore2, and as i am really interested in this project and especially about Javascript APIs, i spent few days trying to implement Mapstore in a maven project based on Angular, but my test weren't successful.

I have read the documentation but have not found anything that could be helpful to me.

So my question is: Did anyone try to implement MS2 in angular? How can React be compatible with Angular? Any experiences about this that you'd like to share?

Hi Alessio,

there are bridges to use ReactJS components in AngularJS. Here are some I found googling:

https://github.com/wizbii/react-directives

Basically what you need to do is to wrap a ReactJS component into an AngularJS directive.

I don't know if this is still applicable to Angular2.

That said, MapStore2 is not only a set of ReactJS components, but you can use them ignoring the rest of the project, if you want. It really depends on what you want to do with MS2. For example if you only need an agnostic map (that can switch from OL3 and Leaflet seamlessly), you can play with the components in web/client/components/map, but if you need more, things could get more complicated.

If you need an embedded map, you can probably use the JS API, as you mentioned, so try to describe the issues you had and we'll try to help.

Could you describe a little bit your scenario and where you got stuck so that we can understand if there is a viable way for you?
