Hi,

Is it possible to retrieve the map configuration of a map configured in a MapStore instance from another application, if possible through a REST API?

It seems possible from the Java code on GitHub but I would like to be sure.

Hi,

the standard MapStore application allows to load only maps from GeoStore or from static json files in /configs/ directory. E.g. #/viewer/openlayers/myCustomMap will retrieve map configuration from /configs/myCustomMap.json

The support you have seen is available at framework level (for developers), where of course you can retrieve data from where you need.
