Problem with Identify feature in combincation with application context in mobile maps

Hello!

I am facing a problem with the identify feature on mobile maps which might be solved with this issue  https://github.com/geosolutions-it/MapStore2/pull/7867 or this issue https://github.com/geosolutions-it/MapStore2/issues/7928

My problem is that, when I am using a normal map the feature info looks like this (https://youmappics.de/ms/#/viewer/openlayers/178): 

When I use a map with an application context it looks like this (https://youmappics.de/ms/#/context/youmappics/3000):

You can not see the map in the top part and the pulldown menu for the layer is cut off on the left hand side.

For me it looks like the mobile version of the feature info is not working when an application context is used. As a proof I changed the width of the feature info dock in the desktop section like discussed here https://groups.google.com/g/mapstore-developers/c/qwJ_G8qyGds/m/EsWXxVOOCgAJ  and the changed width was shown in the mobile map too. Is this a bug that is possibly adressed in one of the issues mentioned above?

Hi, 

actually the difference between mobile and desktop on the default viewer is implemented by different configurations for all the plugins.

 

The possibility to switch beetween configuration depending on desktop, mobile is not actually supported by the context-manager.

You can see here how the Identify plugin is configured for mobile and set it in your context, but this will be valid for desktop and mobile.

Thanks for the feedback. I did not know that. Is it planned to implement the possibility to automatically switch configuration depending on desktop or mobile in context manager?

There is an issue for it, but it is not scheduled yet.
