Mapsforge core, overlays... mapsforge versions

One question... I'm using the downloadable .jar to use in my Android app to show maps and overlays. I'm not achieving to show a OverlayWay and I'm asking for help and trying to find examples out there. And in an example I can see that they're using Polylines. But... in my .jar the Polyline class doesn't exist in Overlay directory! Why there are different versions of mapsforge? Which one I'm using and which are the differences between versions.
