Dear All, by acknowledging a very popular Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/FelaniRoad?ref=stream&hc_location=stream) I have added "Felani Road" as primary name of the roads adjusting Indian High Commission & Indian Embassy, mainly road no 142 & 137 of Gulshan 1 area yesterday evening. Check out the link https://www.google.com/mapmaker?gw=39&fid=3987312520704939695:1381883725117866474. It has already been rendered on the Google Maps. Hope the community agrees with the sentiment and joins the protest by doing which we do best!

ফেলানী ইস্যুতে সমগ্র বাংলাদেশের সাথে ম্যাপিং বাংলাদেশ কমিউনিটি মর্মাহত এবং ব্যথীত। আমরা জাতির অনুভূতির প্রতি শ্রদ্ধাশীল।
গুগল ম্যাপস একটি উন্মুক্ত প্লাটফর্ম এবং যেকেউ শুধুমাত্র জিমেইল আইডি থাকলেই কোনকিছু সংযোজন বা বিয়োজন করতে পারেন। গুগল ম্যাপের কোন সংযোজনই অফিসিয়াল নয়, অর্থাৎ গুগল নিজে কোন এডিট যোগ করেনা। ম্যাপিং বাংলাদেশ টিম একটি ভলেনটারী গুগল গ্রুপ যারা বাংলাদেশের গুগল ম্যাপ উন্নয়নে সহায়তা করে আসছে তবে আমরা কেউই গুগলের কর্মকর্তা/কর্মচারী নই। যেকোন ম্যাপার গুলশানের রাস্তাটিকে এডিট করে ফেলানী সরক নামকরণ করতে পারেন তবে দায়িত্বশীল ম্যাপার হিসাবে আমরা উপদেশ দেব, কোন নাম অফিসিয়ালভাবে স্বীকৃতি না পাওয়া পর্যন্ত দয়াকরে ধৈর্য্য ধরুন। ম্যাপে ভুল তথ্য সংযোজিত হলে রিভিউয়ারগণ তা Deny করে দিতে পারেন, এক্ষেত্রে অন্যন্য ম্যাপারগণ যাই করুক না কেন, ম্যাপিং বাংলাদেশ কমিউনিটির সদস্য হিসাবে আমরা সকলের কাছে আরো দায়িত্বশীল ভূমিকা আশা করছি।
