Caution in Creating Large Features: Editing May be Difficult Later

I've found it unwise to create single, large features such as rivers
with lots of detail since it can be difficult or impossible to edit
later when there are "too many" points.

Others may have more insight as to the limit on number of points and
any best practice.

Hi,

Usually it is approx. 650 node points for a polygon where larger amount than this will make the geometry editing disabled. In case of a lined feature, it actually depends on the length of the feature. A feature enhancement request is already in issue tracker which once done will allow editing such large features. You can find and vote for it in issue tracker.

Hi

Yes , for Example when we draw long Roads , Maybe it has many names in
its way . for example for Secondary roads . That Connects 2 Towns ,
Maybe in start of each town the road has different name . If you try
to change the name of Road Section The Hole road name will Change .
the only way remain is to delete many road sections and Draw them as
new road .
