Hello Mappers,

Are you facing problems in going further because of Pending edits while mapping? We have now decided to launch this thread with Topic 'Request Approvals for your Pending edits'. Now you can simply copy your pending edits and paste it clicking 'Reply' botton which are urgent in nature and require immediate approvals (E.g -if you are editing some segments of roads/Intersection or Highways and went for Review'). Our Regional Expert Reviewer who is Online can help you in approving those edits as quickly as possible, If you have any comments/queries in about this: feel free to write on this thread.

Hi there,

  Navigation in National Highways of Nepal works wonderfully well these days and thank you guys for that. I have one problem and I have triangulated the problem area but could not correct that. So have a look at the link below where we are supposed go from A to B but instead of going straight it takes long and weird road. Sorry I couldnt correct the problem but I hope the triangulation of problem to small area helps.

Secondly, If you guys have authority to  request new satellite image and google does that. We need new and fresh satellite image of B-P Koirala Highway [ Banepa-Sindhuli-Bardibas Highway] so that we could complete that highway.

Yes, you have mentioned a great issue the poor quality of road segment connection which leads to not an appropriate directions.

There the Intersection should be with the Highway F015 but the intersection is just a dead end. How can I resolve this type of issue. I tried several times but couldn't figure out the issue. Kindly suggest.

I want to Extended the Rode at URL http://goo.gl/Lhhri  but when i try to extend there the extend option is not coming and it becomes new road with two Dead Ends of existing road and New Road. What is the Exactly issue. Can you please suggest.

@ Khanalji,

On the first issue: intersection that you tried to point seems not a primary intersection of F015, It must be a connecting (crossing) intersection with a road named there: 'New Road', We can clearly see that F015 has been drawn at this location with very scattered intersections. And problem what you noticed existed in multiple try because of the deletion of part segment of 'New Road'. I would suggest to complete the deleted portion and try again picking particular intersection first.

In second example,  There should be a problem while you extend road from end intersection using less zoomed satellite imagery, You can try using road runner tool( http://goo.gl/ZFYk4 ) of map maker. I guess better explanation is here: http://goo.gl/aSRFX

Thanks for your Reply. I will do as per your suggestion.

One thing I want to confirm that Why it has been Drawn 2 Roads Parallel for Same Ring Road of Kathmandu. Since there are two road so there are lots of roads joining to ring road to only one road so the direction for the navigation is not working properly. I think it was better to create the single road for Ring Road isn't it? Other wise we need to fix to the all intersection of the sub roads coming out or in to the ring road.

Khanalji, Direction-navigation( with Google Maps)  works perfectly with Ring Road of Kathmandu (I mean with both sides); As you can see we have drawn this road ( Only express-wide lane-  road of Kathmandu- Same as 6 lane-Road from Tinkune to Suryavinayak) dividing in separate directions, and looks pretty good on Google maps. I don't think, anything to be fixed. 

If you have encountered with any problems on Direction-Navigation, Please Post back with link, Of course We have to try to fix it !

Thanks for your comment, But i am still facing the problem with the Road on that section. Can you please check this map section with the problem.

I tried many way but couldn't intersect these two line there always come a dead end only of the horizontal line.

Thanks for the heads up. You can see now- I've solved both road connecting problems. Check back these roads again.

There was problems in connection/ Connecting roads at intersections. What I can suggest you is zoom at maximum satellite imagery while drawing road or connecting such roads with end intersections of each other. Better use 'Road runner tool' of map maker to draw long roads- stopping in multiple intersections. If you have been encountering more of such problems, you can delete the problem-creating segment of road first and redraw finding correct 'end intersection'  connecting them properly.

Please assist for the feature "Allied Adventure Travel & Tours Pvt. Ltd." at http://goo.gl/iwzAyU where I had edited poor data as per their official url i.e. http://www.alliedadventure.com/contactus.html which is denied and most surprising it is closed now which is absulately false since it exist till date. Hope this topic intention will come with true result as you have mentioned and experst review of Nepal will come with more accurate.

Just edited the feature http://goo.gl/N7t8TU by additional category i.e "bridge" but could not make the attributes that road underpass here due to it's approved previous category i.e. historical landmark/historical place. Please assist or advice.

Thanks for the post.  

Regarding your first issue,  It seems that Reviewer accidentally denied the changes which resulted the removal of the original feature i.e been Discarded. I suggest you to re-mark the same at accurate location as I can't locate it. Send me the link of the edit immediately if it goes for further approvals.

For the second issue, as I can see you have already edited and added 'Bridge' category , I have approved and now feature is live.  Try to edit further and make changes... I recommend to post pending edit's link on this thread.

Yatri Jee, thank you for your positive review and hope the same assistance to mapping Nepal better in Google map.

I have always review issues while drawing boundary/ground in map mode and most of them always denied. I am making all drawing almost in engineering sketch concept as better it could be but I am wonder when it is denied. Let me explain you that in ground/boundary a house exist and I sketch them as per there physical elevation site plan but on most only house (child) were accepted and ground/boundary (parent) were denied. I think in satellite mode they were unseen bu in map mod it is sketched better. Here are some features that were denied so kindly consider and suggest:
