Editing edits under review

What happens if we edit the features that are not published yet? Is it bad to edit the features that are pending approval? Please suggest me. Thanks.

While reviewing edits, I usually come across names that are not properly capitalized. As they are not published, is it good to change the name? If so what happens if my edit is approved and previous edit is denied?

Yep, Editing pending features without approving or denying  seems to be bad practices. Rather you can suggest editor its best and let the feature to be finalized with same editor as moderators can let him to know that at-least his/her edit was approved or denied.
