Asia-Pacific Map Maker Community Summit

      I'm pleased to announce that Google is hosting it's first-ever regional Asia-Pacific Google Geo Community Summit in March of this year. This event is an opportunity for the region’s best geo-mappers to meet up, exchange ideas and have a bit of fun. The conference will take place at the Festive Hotel in Singapore on March 30 - April 1, 2011. The conference program is still under development, but we’re planning for it to be a mix of pre-planned sessions as well as sessions run by the participants themselves, with a large focus on developing the mapping community in Asia.
