Hi all!

I am not sure if this issue belongs to this part.

My question is this:
If the name of a created feature on the map has characters with
diacritics (e.g., ç, ë, ć, č, ş, etc.), searching for it with a name
spelled instead with equivalent characters without the diacritics
(e.g., "Prishtinë" -> "Prishtine", "Çabrat" -> "Cabrat", etc., i.e.
substituting those above with c, e, c, c, s, respectively), will
Google Maps/Maps Maker be able to find it?

Depending on the answer, mappers may need to add or not another name
to the feature, perhaps of type "Colloquial", with the substituting
characters to make it more findable/searchable.

Your guidance is very much appreciated.

Best regards,
Namik

To the best of my knowledge: yes.

You don't need to add separate english letter naming.

Tell me if I'm mistaken.
