A feature or feature content is spam if
... (not exactly sure)
but,
a feature that lists a commercial concern, including URL is not spam
(right?)

Hi Rich,
As per my understanding, not official:
Also is desirable to include the official URL. This will improve users
experience while they try to gather extra information about a place,
commercial or not, for example, official site for a National Park, a
Province, etc.
But, if you point one hundred features to your site, this is spam.

Gustavo

Hi Rich,
As Gustavo has given an example, any unsolicited/unnecessary
information can be considered as spam. Adding some more examples:
- Adding a non-existent feature where there is no way such a feature
could be present. For example, a shopping mall in the middle of a
forest.
- Adding irrelevant information to a feature. For example, adding a
personal/commercial website/description/address to a city or state or
other non-related feature.
- Adding features solely to advertise. For example, adding 'Address/
plots' giving names like "Plot for sale", etc.

Regards,
Map Maker Guide.
