Map Data update for SRI LANKA

Hi,

I can see a map update for Google Earth as of 14th April 2010.

However, i understand that the map data available on this map has not been updated after 12th November 2009.

I have been uploading more than 7000 new data since 24th December 2009 and unfortunalely nothing has been published in the Google Earth even after getting approved from GOOGLE MAP MAKER.

Please clarify this

Hi Eng. Jayah,
There are multiple questions here. Let me get to them one by one:

Q. Why is Google Earth showing an update as of 14th April 2010?
A. Google Earth has it's own set of updates for example imagery
updates. This is quite different than updating data from Google Map
Maker.

Q. Why isn't Google Map Maker edits available on Google Earth?
A. The last data push was indeed on November, 2009. We'd like to
assure you that all your edits will be available on Google Earth once
the Map Maker data is pushed on to Google Maps/Earth.

Hi

Thanks for your quick response and also for making me aware of the link between GE and GMM.

However, i can see some of the areas in Sri Lanka comprised with Sep 2009 Satellite Imagery tiles in GE and for the same location in GMM is still out dated.

Please check the following link for example.
