Updating Map Data

Does anyone know if the user-made modifications of the maps are going to be uploaded as the new official map in GMaps?

If so, does anyone know when?

The Google Map data is ported over to the Google Map. The last update was the end of October using September data. The next update is sure to be a long time off into the future.
