GMM activity in Ulaanbaatar, Dec-21-2009

Today, we have organized a training of GMM for students of local
universities in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Over 70 students, teachers and
others participated in the training.
The training covers step-by step instruction on adding, editing and
moderating GMM entries; most significant geo features for mapping
Mongolia; and Q&A and discussions. Despite of internet connection
problem in the training room, we presented power point presentation
and distributed the training materials.
Our next training will be organized after 2 days (December 23, 2009)
at same time and same place. I hope we will have internet connection
during next training session and able to demonstrate interactive
mapping process.
Thank you for student clubs of local universities for their hard works
and contribution for GMM Fair days and trainings.

Thank you for posting an update on these training events you've worked
so hard to organize. 70 people is a great turnout! I hope the internet
connection for the next training session is more reliable, although it
sounds like you did a great job with backup materials.
