I just wanted to respond to this once more in order to make my position unequivocal: I have done all the research possible on this issue including actual field trips, picture-taking, and historical research of government records related to the naming of this street and I found it has always gone by the name of "Calle Comercio". Against the voluminuos amount of sources that point to Calle Comercio as the name, I found only 2 evidences that there may have been an attempt in the past to rename the street: there is one author (Luis Fortuno Janeiro) who states the street was named Francisco Parra Duperon (bear in mind countless of other authors call it Calle Comercio -- before, during, and after the claim FPD naming--, and (2) there is an age-faded metal plate on one (and only 1) building at the SE corner of Calle Comercio and Calle Salud that says "Calle Francisco Parra Duperon" (bear in mind that some 8-10 other RECENT street signs that name it Calle Comercio, though). Out of these facts and realities, I say call it Calle Comercio (PRIMARY) and Calle Francisco Parra Duperon (Obscure). Regards.
