El uso de Advanced Search (Advanced search use)

El Advanced Search ha sido para mí el descubrimiento de la semana. Con esta herramienta he podido descubrir cuantas correcciones tengo que hacer en torno a las ciudades, edificios y ya pronto, carreteras.

Yo lo que hago es, hago un alejamiento (zoom out) hasta ver a Puerto Rico entero (si el asunto es editar ciudades, si es otra cosa hago un acercamiento (zoom in) hasta la zona en cuestión), le doy a Advanced Search (que esta al lado del boton de Search), y luego en el Sidebar, bajo Custom Search, escojo la categoría y, voilá! en el mapa me aparecen los puntos para editar.

Por lo visto el filtro no parece funcionar con algunas categorías (como edificios), pero hasta ahora es tremenda herramienta para ayudarnos.

yeah, been using it.

I'm frustrated by some of the reviews. Some are approved instantly,
others are on a limbo.... I believe the reviewers are ignoring them ;p

Don't worry. It is same downhere. But I've been looking in the General Forum and the Issue Tracker what's the method they use to approve a review. So far I've managed to catch this:

• Other users can review the changes (I approve yours, you approve mine's), but they still don't go live.
• Trusted reviewers (the ones with the big G beside the name) can also approve changes, and (I think) they can decide (depend of the internal level they have) if the change go live.

I still will found more on this. I'll approve your changes in the meantime, you do the same with others. Who knows, maybe we reach the famous level of Google Trusted Reviewers. :)
