View in Google Earth does not work either does rotate

Georectifying my own map used to work.  Now when I select the "View In" Google Earth button, nothing happens.  The screen just goes blank.  I need to see the earth as the basic google map does not have enough features to align with in back country orienteering maps.  Also, I need to rotate the map since these maps are originally drawn to magnetic north instead of true north.  

Am I missing something, is something broken, is there a fix etc..?
