Maple Fair Update

Hello,

I have added a tab to our fair spreadsheet for the Primrose Tea menu

Each Maple family needs to contribute quite a lot to cater for our busy little cafe - we are suggesting at least a double batch of a savoury and a sweet thing from each family (about 48 portions total) remember we don’t have to contribute to the cake stall like other school families. Feel free to enlist the help of extended family etc...

We have left the menu list blank this year, hoping that everyone has a family favourite that they can easily whip up a giant batch of. But if you need help with ideas and/or recipes please get in touch and feel free to add ideas to the list at the bottom of the sheet.

There is always demand for allergy friendly and vegan fare so please consider making things that fit this category.

Thank you for filling the roster so quickly - I think we are all on there now (except Ella and I, assuming we will be at the cafe all day ) and the last few gaps should be able to be filled by some class one families.

Kia ora (and thanks Alice and Ella),

Just a wee reminder to please sign up for a shift at the Fairy Queen if you can. We still have a a couple slots to fill and would love the help - especially with set up (like draping foliage?) and clean up (enjoy stuffing things into boxes?).
