Michael Park School Fair 2023 - Primrose Teas Café and Fairy Queen

Kia ora Maple Whānau,

The Michael Park School Fair is coming up!

Saturday 11th November 2023, 9.30am - 3.30pm.

The school fair is a truly magical occasion where the school community comes together like no other time.

This important event on the Michael Park Calendar

·Brings the community together to work as a team

-Strengthens relationships between parents

·Showcases the school

·Organic food, coffee, games, live music and 70 + stalls

·Is a major fundraiser (raises c.40-60k)

·The funds raised are used for the school and the kindergarten

·It is a big commitment from parents (especially in the Kindy)

·The fair has a rich and positive history and has been running for 40 years+ 

Maple Kindy is responsible for Primrose Teas Café and Fairy Queen.

The commitment from each family is;

Shifts

• One slot in either the set up (Friday 10th November from 2pm-4pm) or the clean up (Saturday 11th November 3.30-4.30pm)

• Two one hour slots per child in either Primrose Teas Café or at the Fairy Queen (Backstage must be female only)

Food 

• Please choose two to three items (savoury or sweet) from the list to make for the day, or choose your own item and note it on the menu.

Due to this huge commitment to Primrose Cafe / Fairy Queen, Maple is exempt from baking cakes for the Cake stand at the fair.
